About Olga Roussos

What does data actually change if it doesn’t change decisions?That question has followed me through every stage of my academic and professional path.I’m a proud Bahamian and a summa cum laude graduate of Lynn University with a B.S. in Data Analytics. Early on, I realized I wasn’t as interested in numbers for their own sake as I was in what they enable - clearer thinking, better judgment, and more grounded outcomes for real people.Through projects in investment research, consumer analysis, and business intelligence, I’ve found myself consistently drawn upstream of the data. I learned that the quality of an answer depends heavily on the quality of the question behind it. That realization changed how I approach analysis altogether.This mindset carried into my work beyond the classroom. It began with a United Nations address at 14 years old, where I spoke about using technology to improve food insecurity, and continued through incredible college experiences, such as Accountable Impact’s SDG Challenge, the UN Millennium Fellowship, and Opportunity Collaboration, where I engaged in a range of impact-focused and data-driven projects. Together, they reinforced that innovation isn’t just about what’s possible, but about what’s purposeful. These experiences have brought immense clarity to how I want to engage with technology: thoughtfully, responsibly, and with impact in mind.Now, I’m expanding that perspective through an MBA in International Business Management, aiming to better understand systems, markets, and leadership alongside analytics. I graduate in August 2026 and am building toward roles where data, strategy, and long-term impact meet.

   Selected for the Grow with Google Scholarship through Mentor Me Collective and completed the Advanced Data Analytics track with a focus on real-world application. Through the program, I developed skills in statistical modeling, machine learning, and generative AI, and built data-driven projects using Python, SQL, and visualization tools while engaging in peer collaboration and mentorship.
