Work with the product development teams to create robust part designs that support high volume tooling- Support onsite troubleshooting and process window studies at suppliers in Asia. Provide support across multiple product programs- Review and provide input on supplier-provided DFM for plastic and metal components- Drive process and tooling improvement measures throughout the product development process- Identify key process parameters and ensure parameters are captured in the supplier process control plan- Lead the improvement of productivity and quality of plastic part manufacturing, molding and tooling techniques- Work with the Sourcing team to identify and qualify new tooling and molding suppliers.
