As a team member in charge of the Catalog domain, I played a pivotal role in designing, coordinating, and implementing several new API versions. Key features I worked on include tax management, barcode scanning, inventory management, multi-dimensional variants, and pagination with advanced capabilities like filtering, search, and ordering. To boost development productivity and enhance customer impact, I refactored the codebase from Java to Kotlin, introduced several design patterns, and created the domain evolution plan.I joined another team for 3 months to lead a business-critical project on Fiscalization. After completing the design phase, I collaborated with an additional engineer for its implementation. Upon completion, I handed over the project to 3 more Engineers and left the required documentation.Designed and implemented Sales Receipts, that support different formats: SVG, HTML, PDF, PNG, and JSON.Some other initiatives- as a Security Champion representative from the team and tribe, promoting best practices on Shifting Left on Security- contributed to the technical and team fit interviews, continuously refining the processes- conducted the majority of the team’s incident analyses, set up and ensured following up on action items- created and maintained the team’s on-call Runbooks, RFCs, incident analyses, maintenance and support documentation, team on-boarding, feature documentation, and architecture diagrams- facilitated onboarding for numerous team members, with a special focus on back-end roles. Also mentored a mid-level engineer- collaborated with DevOps to:* establish on-call procedures for the team and participated actively in the on-call rotation;* implement SLO/SLA monitoring with Honeycomb, setting a company-wide benchmark;* transition deployments from Jenkins to GitHub Actions, reducing deployment time from half a day to just 10 minutes.
