As the founding Director of the Disability Support Services office, I\'ve played a pivotal role in shaping the mission, vision, and operational framework of our services throughout the campus community. This has encompassed:Establishing the core mission and vision of our office, along with the implementation of robust processes and guidelines to ensure a comprehensive support structure for students with disabilities and medical conditions.Personally delivering counseling and guidance services to prospective, incoming, and current students, assisting them in understanding the accommodations available and how we can best facilitate their educational journey.Devising and delivering specialized training programs to equip our faculty and staff with the knowledge and tools needed to foster academic accommodations, promote academic inclusion, and cater to the holistic needs of our diverse student body. These training initiatives are central to creating a more inclusive and supportive campus environment.
