About Pat Oleary

I have the privilege of working on solar energy tax credit projects (both debt and equity). I help finance solar panels and provide a clean source of energy. 1st Source is involved in an exciting new endeavor, which benefits consumers across the country. My two best attributes are my analytical and leadership skills. While I can crunch the numbers and assign meaning to them, I go several steps further by diagnosing the root causes of the issues and creating marketing plans to improve asset performance. I strive to be original, outstanding, and on time in my service to my customers. In my career, I had the privilege of being a small business workout officer in commercial banks, an asset manager for a multi-family tax credit real estate investor, and a loan compliance officer for a fin-tech lender. I also realized my dream of being a small business owner by starting and selling a signage and graphics company. Now I look forward to opportunities in the banking and solar energy tax credit industries to finance clean sources of energy and enhance asset performance. In my spare time, I enjoy sports (Go Irish!), daily exercise (I’m a fitness buff), traveling (I’ve been to Africa and the Middle East), reading (non-fiction mostly), and living in Chicago (the food, music, events, etc.). Specialties: Entrepreneur, business development, risk management, commercial real estate, multi-family properties, underwriting, non-profit, marketing, sales.

I have the privilege of working on solar energy tax credit projects (both debt and equity). I help finance solar panels and provide a clean and low-cost source of energy. 1st Source is involved in an exciting new endeavor, which benefits consumers across the country. As a Solar Operations Manager, my role is to own all the transactional and asset management processes for solar panel investments. Solar energy tax credit financing is a highly complex financing process that involves lenders, investors, sponsor developers, attorneys, accountants, and end users. 1st Source focuses on the under-served $5 million -$20 million market for solar panel investments. The debt-equity mix is accurately described as \"lasanga\" financing. When the ingredients are prepared properly, the cuisine is outstanding.
