ABOUT OLAYINKA OSIBODU
Olayinka Osibodu is an award winning entrepreneur, Wealth Equity Investor & DEIB Consultant. Before she Cofounded social impact beauty brand, Melanin Essentials, Olayinka was the first black and female student trustee member of her university’s Board of Trustees. Immediately upon receiving her BA in Sociology and Government & Political Affairs, Olayinka began her career in Washington, D.C. What started out as a congressional office role (PA-14), has now shifted into Olayinka’s life mission to decrease the racial wealth gap in America through entrepreneurship, public policy, and community building. Olayinka primarily coaches, consults, facilitates, and directs programs and cohorts for Social Impact Businesses + Organizations who desire to decrease the Racial Wealth Gap by shifting capital + agency to Black Communities. At the core of Olayinka\'s work is DEIB that starts with leadership—and is rooted in Empathy & Action. Olayinka also speaks and writes about economic and racial justice. To date, Olayinka has cofounded and lead several businesses and initiatives that focus on closing the racial wealth gap. Olayinka currently speaks, writes to Social Impact Entrepreneurs and Everyday Executives, who are ready to bring Equity & Empathy to their leadership style and organizations.
