Microbiology Laboratory Technician @Molton Brown

Conducting microbiological testing of Raw materials, Bulk Products, Finished Goods, Water and Customer complaint samples within given lead- Trained in media preparation, plate reading of water samples and environmental monitoring samples and manage the reading, incubation and streaking/subculture of samples for microorganism identification- Record, interpret and communicate results using the defined communication systems (MS Office)- Raise and investigate failed/out of specification results and follow up action with relevant departments where required- Stock maintenance using the ERP system (e.g, SAP) and carry out yearly ring test- Create, review and maintain Standard Operating Procedures- Laboratory maintenance & monitoring e.g, washing of glassware, equipment sterilization, waste disposal and routine cleaning & calibration of equipment- Maintain records for all inspection activities in SAP and laboratory notebooks- Support training of department in terms of production hygiene.
