Conducting comprehensive evaluations and surveys of complex engineering assets, including ships, offshore installations, and equipment, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, classification rules, and industry standards.Specifically, my responsibilities included- Conducting surveys of ships and safety-critical systems on fixed and floating offshore installations to verify compliance with applicable regulations and standards- Performing surveys at equipment manufacturer\'s works to verify and certify compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards- Controlling and managing change processes for a variety of clients to ensure that modifications to assets did not compromise safety or compliance- Interpreting and applying relevant rules, statutory regulations, LR rules, IACS procedures, and IMO requirements to ensure compliance and provide guidance to clients- Examining and reporting on vessels, FPSO/FSU, offshore installations equipment, machinery, and other marine structures during and after construction to verify compliance with applicable requirements for maintaining classification with Lloyd\'s Register- Conducting surveys of vessels to ensure compliance with associated statutory and special service requirements related to Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS), Loadline, Tonnage, Cargo Gear, and Pollution Prevention Certification (MARPOL)- Collaborating with colleagues from other departments and business streams to encourage collaboration, support business interests, and ensure that survey activities were aligned with organizational objectives.
