   At OpenAI, I serve as a Cybersecurity Deviation Management Specialist, leading efforts to identify, assess, and resolve security deviations across one of the world’s most advanced AI research and deployment environments.In this role, I partner with brilliant teams pushing the boundaries of artificial intelligence, ensuring that our cybersecurity posture keeps pace with innovation. I oversee the full deviation lifecycle from detection and root cause analysis to risk assessment, remediation, and continuous improvement, all while aligning with OpenAI’s mission to ensure that artificial general intelligence (AGI) benefits humanity. What I Do:* Lead the global deviation management process across security, engineering, research, and operations teams.* Collaborate with technical and executive stakeholders to assess the impact of deviations on AI systems, infrastructure, and compliance obligations.* Develop and enforce mitigation strategies aligned with leading standards (NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, etc.) and AI-specific security frameworks.* Build reporting tools and dashboards for real-time deviation tracking, executive oversight, and trend analysis.* Provide strategic insights to strengthen OpenAI’s security posture while supporting agile development and responsible innovation.I’m passionate about building trust, driving operational excellence, and enabling secure innovation in the fast-moving world of artificial intelligence.
