I have always been fascinated by the stories that data can tell. My journey into the world of data science began with an MBA focused on Supply Chain Management. It was there that I realized how crucial data is for making informed decisions and optimizing processes. Since then, I’ve dedicated my career to transforming complex datasets into actionable insights using machine learning and natural language processing (NLP). Currently at Snorkel AI as a Data Annotator, I\'ve had the chance to work closely with talented data scientists to enhance the training quality of our models. In just two months, my precise annotations improved accuracy rates by over 25%. This experience has deepened my appreciation for the meticulous nature of data work and how it directly impacts real-world applications. Before joining Snorkel AI, I honed my skills at Flatiron School as a Data Scientist where I conducted extensive data annotation on diverse datasets. My efforts led to significant improvements in model training quality—again achieving over a 25% boost in accuracy within the first two months. Each project taught me something new about the power of collaboration and the importance of clear communication in tech. My earlier role as a Graduate Research Assistant at Albany State University allowed me to explore predictive analytics further. I utilized these skills to forecast lead times and optimize inventory management while managing supply chain risks through case studies using R. These experiences have shaped my analytical mindset and reinforced my belief in the value of data-driven decision-making. Outside of work, I enjoy diving into new technologies and exploring how they can be applied to solve everyday problems.
