ABOUT OLAF DZIEWIRZ

Transport Director with over 8 years’ hands-on experience in UK road haulage and intermodal transport. I come from a family that has been involved in haulage for over 40 years, so the industry isn’t something I fell into — it’s what I’ve grown up around.Since 2020, I’ve been part of The Best Solutions Hull Ltd, a family-run haulage business that I now operate alongside my parents and brother. I started out in planning and operations and have worked my way up through the roles, giving me a full, ground-level understanding of how transport really works.Today, I run and plan a fleet of over 30 trucks operating across multiple depots in the UK and Poland. My day-to-day covers fleet planning, driver management, O-Licence compliance, Driver Hours and WTD, maintenance scheduling, cost control and customer performance. I deal directly with customers, sort problems when they arise and make sure the wheels keep turning.My background includes container and ferry trailer work, dry bulk and general haulage, working in both blue-chip logistics environments and family operations.
