ABOUT OLADIMEJI DARAMOLA
As a Transport and Fleet Manager with over 12 years of experience in the transportation and logistics sector, I have successfully led and coordinated various activities in the transport department, managing a fleet of vehicles and overseeing transportation operations. I have a strong background in logistics, supply chain management, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS), which I have leveraged to enhance fleet maintenance, driver safety, and cost efficiency.In my most recent role at Lagos State Motor Vehicle Administration Agency, I was responsible for ensuring timely patient transportation during the Covid-19 pandemic, utilizing GIS to identify optimal ambulance station locations, improving response times and service coverage. I also developed and implemented policies, procedures, and best practices to optimize fleet utilization and reduce operational costs, managing a multimillion-dollar budget and building strong vendor relationships. I recently completed a Master of Science degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management at Birmingham City University, where I aim to further develop my skills and knowledge in this field.
