ABOUT ANTHONY OKUCHI
I am an operations and strategy executive with over 20 years of leadership experience scaling organizations across automotive, AI, technology, and financial services. My passion lies in building efficient, customer-focused systems that enable rapid growth while driving quality, safety, and continuous improvement. As the Director of AI at Keywords Studios, I lead the development and application of AI-driven solutions across game development, player engagement, and digital content production. I partner closely with global clients to identify where AI can enhance creativity, accelerate production workflows, and unlock new service capabilities — while safeguarding artistic intent, data ethics, and IP integrity.I am motivated by a simple principle: AI should enhance human creativity, not replace it — building workflows where technology enables teams to imagine more, create faster, and produce with greater impact at scale. At Sanctuary AI, I led fleet operations, customer delivery, and service programs that supported internal and external customers as the company scaled toward large-scale production. Prior to that, I launched and led Rivian’s Vehicle Operations Department, helping take the company public and delivering more than vehicles across 2022 and 2023. Earlier, I directed operations at Modo, overseeing a $14M budget, 700-vehicle fleet, and major technology projects, and at LGM, I scaled product launches threefold by driving process innovation. My career foundation was built at Vancity, where I held executive roles in strategy, FP & A, product, and commercial operations.I bring a global perspective, holding an MBA from Queen’s University and international experience studying and consulting in Asia, Europe, and Australia. I also teach part-time at BCIT and SFU and dedicate time to global and local volunteer work, including leadership training initiatives in Mongolia, Cambodia, Ghana, and Uganda.Whether building from the ground up or transforming existing operations, I thrive at the intersection of people, process, and strategy — creating organizations that scale sustainably and deliver lasting impact.
