JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop site safety plans, review work method statements, and safety deliverables as per the client’s requirements. Lead weekly site safety meetings & conduct training sessions. Conduct incident investigation and perform RCA using techniques such as Fishbone, 5 whys, and other advanced incident investigation methods to ascertain root causes and recommendations for system improvements. Ensure that before any work starts, J.E. Richards employees review the area where the work is to take place and document findings in their PTP. All work will be isolated by Safety Cones and plastic chain barricades as determined necessary to prevent unauthorized entry. Support the site team to ensure all areas of work are inspected before starting and coordinated with Holder and Customer to ensure best practices to prevent disruption to the surrounding operations. Ensured employees designated as Authorized Persons received LOTO training specific to this site-specific policy and Holder expectations. Training will include review of the LOTO policy, means and methods of LOTO, and requirements for verification of no voltage and an electrically Safe Work Environment Ensure any activities that require Energized Electrical Work to occur will be performed in Accordance with JER Policies and the requirements detailed in NFPA 70E. Develop a safe system of work for high-risk electrical installations to mitigate potential hazards. Conducted site induction, training, and toolbox talks with the site team. Perform daily site inspections and weekly audits to identify trends and specific areas of concern. Perform JHA review with the site management team, hazards identification, and risk mitigation process to ensure a proactive approach to managing safely.
