ABOUT JOSE SILVA
José serves his clients as an Independent Fiduciary Advisor with Silva Fiduciary Advisors in the Daytona Beach area and Orlando.José has broad international experience in finance, banking, consulting, languages and other disciplines working in Europe, Latin America and the U.S. He obtained an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management and has a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Languages from California State University, Northridge. José also holds the Accredited Asset Management Specialist (AAMS) designation.José is actively involved in serving his community. He is currently Adjunct Professor of Finance and Investments at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. He served as President of Business Network International (BNI) in Daytona Beach and President of the Daytona Beach West Rotary Club. He has served on the board of various local not-for-profit organizations. José has also taught local high school students the fundamentals of saving, managing and investing money. Learning and speaking languages is one of his greatest passions; Jose currently speaks five languages fluently and is currently learning Mandarin Chinese.Being the eldest of eight siblings, José has always cherished the family as his number one priority. He has two children: Natalia, 32 years of age and Sebastian, 27 years old. The Silva family is very fortunate to have beautiful Costa Rica as their second home where they spend about a month every year enjoying its many wonders.
