About João Viégas

Hey! My name is João (it’s pronounced as if you were waving a lightsaber) and I\'m an Art Director.I was born and raised in the countryside of Brazil in a small town called Indaiatuba where horses will sometimes hinder local traffic. I later moved to São Paulo, lived in Miami and now am based in New York, where rats sometimes hinder local’s calm.My work has garnered over 100 international recognitions, been featured in almost every major news outlet, talked about in morning and late night shows, become a SNL sketch and twice was made fun by Seth Meyers.Recently I’ve been having fun at Mischief, where we have managed to prank 116 million people at once during the Super Bowl, fabricate beer-flavored lollipops, fire Nick Fury, get single people to help dogs get adopted and supported local businesses by going to the bar every Thursday.It should go without saying, but I’ll say it anyway: not a single project of mine was done alone.
