I’m Ojas Kulkarni, a curious and driven biotechnology graduate with interest in Neurodevelopmental disorders, The gut-brain axis, Computational Biology, Biomaterials and research that improves human health.My Master thesis at CSIR IGIB focused on studying the neurological role of a dyslexia linked gene using zebrafish as a model system which gave me hands on experience in molecular biology, immunofluorescence, confocal microscopy, and image analysis. Hobbies like Table tennis and chess, both have taught me patience, discipline, and focus the qualities I bring to my scientific work as well.I’m currently seeking opportunities to grow as a researcher and contribute meaningfully to questions at the intersection of neuroscience, microbiology, and human health.
