Microsoft MVP 20••••18 inclusive for Windows PowerShell and Cloud/Azure Data-center Management. English (native) & French (professional) speaker. Eager Open Source enthusiast with significant contributions spanning PowerShell to NuGet, to creating popular libraries (e.g. PSCX) etc.My first foray into internet technologies began in the mid-nineties, when I built Ireland’s first large-scale eCommerce system for Allied Irish Banks (known as First Trust in North America). Programming is a passion for me, and I enjoy high-pressure environments and the company of talented colleagues to inspire me.Specialties: Cross platform web, distributed systems & enterprise multi-tier development including modernizing legacy systems through the use of hybrid cloud and on-premise modern web application technologies, employing azure, web api, rest, odata, protobuf, service bus, sso, messaging etc. While my primary platform expertise is with Microsoft (esp. Azure, ASP.NET /.NET Core, Microsoft Orleans & Office Platform) and CloudFlare ZTNA, I am comfortable with a wide variety of unix flavours and OSS platforms. I am a firm believer in open source and have contributed features and improvements to Visual Studio, PowerShell and Windows 10 and various third party projects.
