As a former Supervisory Park Ranger and now a Senior Software Engineer, I leverage my passions for the environment, travel, technology, and lifelong learning to create innovative software solutions. I have experience designing, developing, testing, and maintaining distributed services in Go using the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and various database management systems.I leverage my soft skills and leadership abilities, which I developed over a multitude of my on-the-job and professional development opportunities, to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, onboard and mentor new engineers, and navigate complex technical and compliance challenges. I am always eager to learn something new and seek help from my talented network of friends and colleagues. To achieve my goals in life, I have found it important to light a fire within myself, take every opportunity to learn something new and have the courage to ask for help.
