ABOUT OĞUZ GÜLBAY

As a seasoned Azure cloud architect, I thrive in a multinational team environment, being driven by a passion for continuous learning and professional growth. With a keen interest in the underlying mechanics of cloud technology, I aim to remain vendor-agnostic in my cloud-awareness, staying up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies across the market. Holding certifications in Microsoft AZ-104 Azure Administration, AZ-305 Azure Architecture Design, OCI Architect Associate, Databricks Platform Architect, and FinOps Practitioner and Engineer roles, I have successfully led organizational awareness and implementation of cloud adoption and well-architected frameworks and helped establish pillars of reliability, security, cost optimization, operational excellence, and performance efficiency. My current focus is on leading with the FinOps framework, aiming to achieve best practices on achieving accurate cloud budget management, cost allocation, measurement of business value of cloud investments, and driving a cost-aware culture with data-driven decisions.
