Following the collapse of Signature Bank in 2023, the Federal Deposit Insurance Company (“FDIC”) temporarily took over the Signature\'s commercial real estate loan portfolio and divided the loans into pools, with temporary servicing handled by Flagstar. In November 2023, CSP was formed to bid on, and subsequently invest in, and service the loans that make up the rent stabilized portfolio of Signature Bank’s multifamily commercial real estate loan portfolio. CSP and the FDIC closed on the transaction in December 2023. Community Stabilization Partners (CSP) is a joint venture between The Community Preservation Corporation (the managing member) and Related Fund Management. Pursuant to a consulting agreement, Neighborhood Restore provides strategic portfolio management services to CSP. CSP is focused on preserving the long-term affordability, physical quality and financial stability of properties within the portfolio.
