With over 15 years of experience as an international trade compliance attorney and business leader, I have a proven track record of developing and implementing innovative solutions for managing global export control and sanctions compliance programs. I currently lead the Export Control Innovation Team and serve as the Chief Legal Counsel for export control and sanctions at SAP, the world\'s largest provider of enterprise application software.In these dual roles, I leverage my expertise in U.S. and international trade laws, enterprise risk management, transaction monitoring, and counseling to support SAP\'s activities worldwide. I manage a team of export compliance professionals who are responsible for enhancing IT solutions, integrating new acquisitions, and complying with new legal requirements. I also advise senior management and stakeholders on complex and strategic trade compliance matters, and represent SAP in external engagements and partnerships. My mission is to foster a culture of compliance that enables SAP to achieve long-term success in the global marketplace.
