ABOUT BETTI MISZLAY

I am a proactive and organised Office and Purchasing Manager who thrives in a dynamic environment and is always up for new challenges. I am not afraid to step outside my comfort zone and get my hands dirty! I\'m contributing all my best work and bubbly personality to Shadow. I spent more than a year developing my skills in the Admin and Finance Team at the company. Social perceptiveness, focus, multitasking, curiosity, problem-solving, patience and being fiercely loyal are all characteristics that have enabled me to accomplish success inside and outside of the office. Also, I have more than ten years of experience in customer-facing roles, which helped me become more resilient, confident and attentive. I have worked with very high profile guests and visitors at events, conferences in Budapest, so I am comfortable and confident to engage with senior management and stakeholders. So how did this Hungarian lady end up in London? I was always passionate about people, diversity, the environment and travelling. When I visited the UK for the first time, I fell deeply in love with London and promised myself to move here. I was only 11 years old but very determined back then as well. After more than a decade, I made it; finally conquered London all by myself, which was the proudest moment in my life. The beginning was not easy, but I greatly impacted people, helped organisations implement new processes, and worked hard to earn people\'s trust. During my journey, I gained experience, skills and knowledge in Hospitality, Administration and Facilities. As a people person, I am pleased with my previous roles, but my main goal is to become the smiliest and most driven Office and Facilities Manager in the capital or outside UK borders. I am ambitiously training and developing myself to achieve this position, connecting people who can mentor me and being open to new technologies and procedures. I believe that if given the opportunity, I would be an outstanding contribution to not only your team but the whole company. Fun facts about me: I am a licensed tour guide who loves giving advice and recommendations to help people enjoy Budapest and Hungary more like a local than a tourist. Nothing is more important than a relaxed and well-organised holiday with a bit of sprinkle of spontaneity. I am an advocate of sustainability culture and mental health. During the first lockdown, I took the initiative to attend a course to become a Psychological First Aider. I also have a blue belt in Judo which made me a fighter, literally.
