As Administrator for the Office on Aging and Independence, I provide thought leadership, strategic direction, and overall management for the Office. I work across disciplines to develop policies, programs, and systems of care for older adults. I am responsible for ensuring coordination of service delivery with related agencies and recommending public policy positions regarding issues related to older adults to County Leadership. I am a part of the Department of Community Resources and Services\' leadership team and contribute to department-wide strategic planning and goal implementation. As Administrator, I serve as the court-appointed Guardian of Person of last resort for Howard County older adults 65 and over that are deemed incompetent by the Court.
