ABOUT MICHAEL BABAFEMI

An accomplished and dedicated professional with over 9 years considerable experience in cost management of construction developments across multiple sectors in the industry. I take keen interest in the delivery of projects to budget and schedule, and commitment to achieving desired and acceptable results. I manage projects with keen attention to detail and with appropriate mix of ACC, CEMAR and RICS standards. Excellent in cost control, valuations, claims, final accounts, budgeting, contract drafting and reviews and disputes management.I possess good knowledge and understanding in the preparation of bills of quantities by adopting SMM 7 or NRM 2 & 3 principles. My experience as expert witness and further certification in claims and disputes resolution of construction contracts further reinforced and horned my skills in the right application of claims and dispute resolution techniques and principles. As a seasoned quantity surveyor, proficient in the use of AutoCAD, Revit, Excel, COINS and other data analysis tools that are useful in decision making and performance improvement with adequate knowledge of effective communication with stakeholders and systematic problem-solving skills. I am a self-motivated and dedicated quantity surveyor with deep commitments to ensuring compliance to required standards at all levels whilst also fostering similar traits in team members. I enjoyed working in a team and have constantly and repeatedly demonstrated the required skills to lead teams in delivering project outputs in accordance with organisational goals and at the same time supporting individual team members\' developments.
