Mr. Odion Dibua is a Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Texas. He obtained his BS and MS degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University. He has 17+ years of experience in the oil and gas industry with Cactus Wellhead, FMC Technologies (now TechnipFMC) and Wood Group (now Wood).Mr. Dibua worked at FMC for about 5-1/2 years, primarily on the design, assembly and testing of valves, actuators, and other subsea hardware used in subsea Trees, Manifolds, Controls Structures, etc. He worked at Wood for over 7 years. In his primary role, he served as a subsea systems and structures lead engineer, where he oversaw the design, construction and testing of manifolds, jumpers and pipeline structures, and managed their interfaces with trees and control systems. As a secondary role, he served as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for valves, actuators, chokes and connection systems. In his last year at Wood, he also served as the Technical Proposals Lead for subsea engineering tenders. In this role, he worked with business development and engineering discipline leads to develop and submit tenders for job prospects. He also worked with Topsides disciplines for joint bids.Following his time at Wood, Mr. Dibua worked at TechnipFMC. He was a Product Technology Manager for Surface Trees and Wellheads for 1 year, and Product Manager for Frac Valves and Trees for 2 years. He worked closely with region management, manufacturing, sourcing, business development and sales to assess the market and identify opportunities for new products. He led the effort to understand the voice of the customer and translate it into product requirements. He also actively managed product portfolios and served as a technical authority, supporting the Americas and international business units of Surface Technologies.Mr. Dibua now works at Cactus Wellhead, serving as the Engineering Manager for Valves and Actuators. In this role, he leads all valve related projects, including design, manufacturing, validation, testing and field use. He manages the valve group and serves as a Technical Authority / Subject Matter Expert for valves, actuators, chokes and other related products.Mr. Dibua is passionate about the oil and gas industry, engineering and management. As such, he is constantly looking to advance his career and grow as a professional, through learning and collaborations in oil and gas or other engineering industries.
