About Bryan Mehr

I started my business career silk screening punk rock album covers on t-shirts back in high school. I have always been intrigued by mechanical processes and technology and love to figure out creative ways to utilize both. I founded a company called M2 Displays Inc. We were on Inc. Magazines fasted growing list 3 years in a row. At our peak the company had 50 employees which I cared for deeply. We specialized in innovative retail displays for some of the biggest brands. Long story short we were hit with a series of circumstances that crippled the business and after a hard fight we had to shut it down. It\'s a heck of a story, full of pain and rich in lessons, that I am happy to share. For the last several years I have been teaching myself to program. I have been interested in immersive tech for some time and I tried to make a go of selling it but quickly realized that I needed a better understanding of how the tech actually works. As I have done many times in my career I went out to learn it for myself and have been honing my skills by learning Unity3d and learning to code in C#, with a goal of being able to communicate better across all channels. I have since made many proof of concept apps and immersive game style renderings and released two augmented reality apps to both Google and Apple app stores. I now have the privilege of working in the gamedev industry with some of the most talented young people on this planet and enjoy every minute of it.
