Apply advanced knowledge of Wide Area Networking (WAN) technologies, with a strong focus on dynamic routing protocols such as EIGRP, OSPF, and BGP, to ensure resilient and efficient connectivity across complex infrastructures.• Lead the diagnosis and resolution of complex network issues across large-scale enterprise systems, leveraging deep troubleshooting experience and the use of industry-standard diagnostic tools, including Wireshark (GUI & TShark), SolarWinds, NetFlow, PRTG, Cisco DNA Center• Administer and maintain a variety of Cisco network platforms, including ISR and ASR routers (e.g, 2900, ASR series), ASA firewalls, and Cisco FirePOWER/Threat Defence systems, ensuring optimal security and performance.• Manage and troubleshoot high-performance switching platforms such as Cisco Nexus and Catalyst series (3850, 3650, 2960X, 4500X), employing associated technologies like VTP, STP, and VSS for seamless network operations.• Support the delivery of secure wireless solutions, including Cisco Meraki and controller-based wireless infrastructure, enhancing mobility and connectivity across enterprise environments (beneficial experience).• Assist in the deployment and configuration of Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) for policy-based access control and network identity management.• Provide supplementary support for next-generation firewall platforms, including Palo Alto Networks devices, contributing to layered network security.• Maintain flexibility for site-based work and project deployments, requiring a valid UK driving licence for travel to customer locations and remote sites as needed.
