About Octavia Gomez
Identifying as a first-generation immigrant from Amatitlan, Guatemala is the foundation of my mission and core values. I pride myself on excellence, student leadership, and determination. I understand the value of hard work, and I am committed to giving back my talents to the greater community. I am a third year student at Benedictine College, studying Criminology and Psychology with an interest in Law, and have been on the Dean’s Honors List for the past two and a half years. I am a proud member of two programs of distinction at Benedictine College. As a recipient of the full-ride Benedictine Freedom Fellows scholarship and a member of the Gregorian Fellows, I have established myself as a student leader on campus. I am also excited to serve as Co-President of the Gregorian Fellows for the 20••••27 term, where I will organize program events, host various worldwide speakers, connect members through our mentorship program, and run the Gregorian Fellows Instagram page. I have also been selected for various honors societies including the Psi Chi International Honors Society and the Inaugural Mortar Board Chapter at Benedictine College.
