Recruited and hired as the company’s first Neurosurgical representative. Worked under Penumbra Leadership (Lockhart, Barry, Elsesser, Chimenti) to sell, train & assist neurosurgeons in endoscopic neuro-evacuation of deep brain bleeds. After selling Artemis devices to 26 stroke centers in the western US, I helped hire, train & manage a new Neurosurgical division under Greg Finch.While awaiting new clinical data to support ICH evacuation, I eagerly joined Penumbra Neurovascular as the Territory Manager of Orange County, Inland Empire and Hawaii. For the past seven years I’ve sold thrombectomy products for use in the revascularizaion of patients with acute ischemic stroke as well as embolization coils for aneurysms, fistulas & vessel sacrifice. We are also the world leader in neurovascular access devices designed to facilitate the treatment of a wide range of disorders in challenging neurovasculature.Superior technology, best-in-class commercial support team & the hands-on expertise of my clinical rep, RD Lusung, has resulted in us hitting the sales quota every year- including Region of the Year in 2022 & 2024.
