I am a SAS certified professional, currently reading Masters in Business Analytics from the W. P. Carey School of Business at the Arizona State University. I completed my undergraduate studies in software engineering and worked for two years with HCL Technologies Ltd, one of the top software companies in India. However, my flair for business drove me towards entrepreneurship as I started my own company – an online portal that provided affiliate marketing services to some of the biggest online players like Amazon and Flipkart. This experience of running my own company led me to discover my passion for working in a fast-paced and goal-driven environment and unravel my skills of a negotiator and problem-solver. I experimented with servant style leadership to motivate my employees and successfully navigated through the challenging e-commerce market for establishing a strong base for the business within a short span of six months. But above all, this experience of working in the e-commerce market helped me to understand the real-world significance of data analysis, and became my main motivation to pursue my current course at ASU.
