About Ocean Rahmankhan
In May 2022, I graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor\'s Degree in Science, focusing on Industrial Organizational Psychology. I have a strong passion for Human Resources and hope to accomplish a successful career in HR. Previously, I worked for a year as a Staffing Coordinator with Elite Medical Staffing where I assisted in scheduling and payroll. My previous position as a Staffing Specialist helped me transition smoothly into my new role that involved interviewing, onboarding, and hiring new clinicians. My experience as a Human Resources Assistant at GAO Tek has provided me with experience on the full recruitment cycle. From my HR Assistant position, I have gained interview skills, resume screening knowledge, recruitment and job posting experience. My Research Assistant position at the University of Central Florida has provided me with knowledge on how to collect and analyze data while working as a team. Focusing on research in the Industrial Organizational field of Psychology has prepared me to work in the field of Human Resources. My experience in Food Service and Sales has given me customer service skills that I can use for the rest of my career. While at Dairy Queen I was a trainer and learned every position of the store, showing that I am capable of learning new skills quickly. I am very eager to learn and work with others. My ability to connect with customers while selling products at Bath and Body Works allowed me to use my people skills to it’s full potential. My team work skills shined through at both Dairy Queen and Bath and Body Works.
