About Orletta Ekpene Caldwell
I\'m Dr. Orletta Caldwell, a lifelong educator, strategist, and nonprofit management specialist with over 30 years of experience helping mission-driven organizations strengthen their operations, leadership, and community impact.As Founder and CEO of Beyond Existing Enterprises, I work with grassroots and Black-led nonprofits to move beyond survival by building systems that create clarity, compliance, and sustainability. Whether I\'m stepping in as a Fractional or Interim Executive, facilitating a strategic planning session, or guiding founders through my Nonprofit Management Series, my goal is always the same: to help leaders lead well and build lasting legacies.My journey has taken me from serving as Executive Director for the Michigan Council of Women in Technology and Camp Baber to teaching as an Assistant Professor at Grand Rapids Community College. I\'ve also collaborated with organizations like TechSoup, CEDAM, the Metro Detroit Council of Christian Churches, and the Urban Renewal Commission of Colorado Springs (both remotely and in person).
