About Obinna Anya
As an AI researcher and HCI expert, I probe for the real essence of human behavior and enable it with AI. At a time when the measure of algorithms is no longer based solely on their functional effectiveness, but also upon their ability to mind us, empathize with us, and generate new knowledge artifacts, I\'m excited by the question of how to create meaningful experiences to optimize human relationship with AI-powered algorithmic systems. Do conventional usability goals still apply?In my work in enterprise UX, I am motivated by the question of how to bring consumer-quality software experience to the enterprise and design useful and delightful solutions to support businesses struggling to fit smart and networked technologies to their systems and processes. What humane principles drive your business?My research has informed end-to-end software development in e-health, future of work, enterprise AI, ethical social robotics, personalized learning, cloud service compliance monitoring, data platforms and usable machine learning.As a mentor and educator, I am fascinated by the question of how to inspire and challenge \"the African child\" to be the best version of themselves, pursue life aspirations without limits, and contribute to transforming the great continent of Africa and making the world a better place. We all have a part to play.
