In May 2025, I set out to end the bill splitting conundrum once and for all—you know, that awkward moment at the end of the night when the bill lands on your table and you\'re left trying to figure out who owes what, calculator in hand?Over the following 6-months I would teach myself to code and leverage AI in every way I could to build BillBob, which is now available on the iOS app store in 26 countries. BillBob is an app that solves exactly the problem I just described — it lets you take a photo of receipt, use AI to scan it, and then split out each item (including tips, service charges, etc.) based on who had what. And to make life even easier, you can get paid back in seconds if you covered the bill.My goal now is to grow BillBob rapidly. I\'ll be leaning on my content marketing background heavily to do this, leveraging social media in particular. But, I also genuinely believe that great products beget great uptake, and so I\'ll strive to make BillBob brilliant, constantly refining and adding features that genuinely make a difference to people.If you\'re like me, and want to solve people\'s problems in new and interesting ways, please reach out.
