Duties as a Gen-Ed Para involved a cross-team dynamic between teachers and administration to provide assistance and monitoring classrooms during classrooms, lunchroom and recess. Organizing the classroom and teaching materials, and in-person presence minimizing distractions and disruptions. Supervising students in and out of the classroom. Attending to students\' physical, personal, academic, and emotional needs. The position provides a wide-range of interactions with students from K-5 from the classroom to the crosswalk at the end of the day.
