Key Responsibilities in the Mumbai-Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail (MAHSR) Project- India’s First High-Speed Train Corridor (Funded by JICA): 1. Leading the implementation of Signal, Telecom, IT, and Automatic Fare Collection (AFC) & Ticketing systems for the MAHSR Project.2. Managing the entire lifecycle of International Competitive Bidding including preparation of bid documents, cost estimation, tendering, and contract awards specifically for High-Speed Signaling (ETCS Level 2), Project Management Consultancy (PMC), and Independent Safety Assessment (ISA) services.3. Overseeing contract management for Japanese consultancy services, including coordination and contractual discussions with Japan High Speed Rail Electric Engineering Company Ltd.4. Engaging and coordinating with key stakeholders including the Government of Japan, JICA, MLIT, the Embassies of Japan and India, as well as associated consultants and agencies.5. Collaborating with Japanese experts and manufacturers to finalize bidding documents and cost estimates for the Japanese-style signaling system proposed for the MAHSR Project.6. Driving the implementation of the AFC and Ticketing systems to ensure seamless passenger experience.7. Managing the procurement, installation, and maintenance of critical IT infrastructure for NHSRCL.
