About Oneall Massamba
I am a dual citizen from France and the Republic of Congo who holds a Masters in Applied Economics and is an infrastructure attorney admitted to practice in the State of New York. I has over 7 years of experience in complex international transactions and public procurement regulation and practices. I have a strong interest in projects and initiatives consisting in leveraging financing for development and implementing sustainable infrastructure. I am also an advocate for youth engagement and social inclusion, and has been leading initiatives at the World Bank Group (WBG) and globally to promote a green, resilient and inclusive development. I have been invited on several occasions to take part in conversations that highlight the importance of inclusion of minorities and inspire youth to be actors of change. Such conversations include: a Fireside Chat with Dr. Sandie Okoro as part of the Youth Summit 2021 on “How to empower youth to effect change” and as part of the 2022 International Women’s Day Theme “#BreakTheBias” a WBG panel discussion on “Women in Africa: Cultural Expectations & Gender Inequality”. And more recently discussions as part of the Berlin Demography Days and the Y20 Indonesia pre-summit on Diversity and Inclusion in Manokwari, West Papua on June 18-19, 2022 (available on YouTube).I also value the importance of making legal services available to all. For over 7 years I have been providing free legal services to refugees and victims of domestic violence. I did some Pro Bono work in Montréal (Canada) and Paris (France) to assist refugees seeking asylum, and in Washington D.C with Amnesty International and the Domestic Violence Unit of the DC Superior Court.
