This role entails the research, development and improvement of new products and processes. My role in projects is to ensure that the products or process under development conforms to standards, guideline and ultimately satisfies our customers. This summarized responsibility is achieved with great focus on agility, quality, innovation and business profitability. Manage the quality process planning and execution in projects which include methods, tools, and standards and as well testing plan and technical controlling of QM measures and targets. Execute quality and business objectives in product development process. Execute milestone evaluations in the different project phases and prepare release decision, risk assessment. Review and release all product specifications, production test capability and checking directives to realize project objectives. Implement quality objectives and ensure they are in synchronization with the business objectives. This includes supplier selection, supplier management and perceived quality. Evaluate the technical viability of a new design or process by performing simulations, rigorous testing of ideas and prototypes, risk assessment (FMEAs) and consumer testing. Problem solving using various quality tools like 8D, six sigma etc.
