About Nzinga Harris
I got my first laptop in 2011. It was a MacBook pro and I was in love with it! Sure, I bought it originally for school but when I got into the computer and realized I could be creative, it quickly became a machine I almost exclusively created content. Since then I\'ve saved up for cameras and lenses to teach myself photography and videography. With no one to shoot I eventually began making videos starring. Me! It finally occurred to me that I belong in the content creation industry. Since then, I have performed in video content for many different organizations from church to campaign ads to fun YouTube videos with friends (parody of \'The Office\' haha!). I\'ve developed an attention to detail in my three years experience as an Audio-Visual Director. I\'ve co-hosted and produced podcasts. I\'ve produced, performed in and setup live streams. I\'ve even directed, shot and edited campaign ads during election season. I\'ve done all of this while running my own YouTube channel in which I host live streams, record talking head videos and vlogs. Needless to say I have plenty of experience editing video. As the Director of Audio and Visual I do everything from coming up with video concepts and ideas to performing in videos myself. I work closely with the Executive and Communications Directors to construct messaging for weekly videos. I also produce and direct videos for political candidates and office holders. I coordinate live interviews with news stations such as the BBC and The First network. I play consultant as well when I made suggestions in the building the in-office recording studio on sound treatment and equipment to purchase. My role also consists of event photography and headshots.I have experience with Premiere Pro and Da Vinci Resolve. Currently, I use Da Vinci Resolve. I have experience with Canon, Panasonic, Sony and Blackmagic camera bodies. Currently, I use a Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6K for work and a Panasonic GH-5 for personal use.
