The complexities of the 20••••16 West Africa Ebola outbreak highlighted the urgent need to protect our country from serious biological threats and ignited my passion to pursue a career in biodefense and countering weapons of mass destruction (CWMD). For the past 8 years, I\'ve supported clients at the CDC and DHS to bolster their surveillance capabilities and national security posture. My background in emerging infectious diseases, combined with years of management consulting experience and an active DoD Secret clearance, allows me to bridge the gap between scientific understanding and strategic action to truly understand the needs of agencies like the CDC and DHS.
