Hi, I\'m Nyrie! Thanks for coming to visit. I\'m an HR Manager with an extensive background in people leadership, business operations, administration, client service, and sales management. I get excited about people, process, and how HR helps these work together to create a thriving, healthy organization. People are the backbone of every organization. I care about supporting them, developing them, and treating them right. I\'m currently working as an HR Manager at Sea to Sky Community Services, a social services non-profit based in Squamish BC. We offer 42 social services programs serving individuals and families across the Sea to Sky Corridor, with our main operating hubs in Squamish, Whistler, and Pemberton. We\'re a diverse team of over 200 professionals and we served over clients in 2023. Here\'s a bit about what I\'ve been doing lately- 3 years as an HR Manager at SSCS where I\'m connecting with leaders across the organization to revitalize and modernize our HR function-Over a 3-month period I expanded my role from administration, to auditing, to staffing strategy, to new process and policy creation and implementation. Promoted to HR Manager within first 3 months- Currently working on an orientation, onboarding, and mentorship program for all employees- Spearheading an organization-wide health and safety training program. Some of my previous accomplishments- 5+ years in full-cycle HR for a team of up to 25+ at various $1M-$6M+ retail locations. Strong skills in recruiting top talent, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, training and development, and performance management- Created and implemented an HR SOP manual for Canadian and US retail operations, affecting a total of 10+ locations and full complement of retail sales teams- Worked part-time as an HR intern and volunteer HR Assistant at Coast Mental Health during the 20••••21 pandemic. My work there focused specifically on recruitment initiatives and safety in essential services: conducting a needs analysis, building and administering employee and manager surveys, interpreting data, and making recommendations. I created, administered, and interpreted a survey for key managers to address staffing needs in high priority departments.
