ABOUT NYRA VELASCO

I am proud to say I am a Tampa Native born and raised in Ybor City. I have been with Colonial Life for over 9 years as the Tampa Territory Executive Assistant transitioning to the Sales Field in the last 2 years. My focus and passion to help educate employees on their health insurance options has now extended into the Senior Market which is why I have joined United Healthcare as a Medicare Solutions Specialist. I also have been associated with the Tampa Bay Area Health Underwriters for the past 9 years and currently serving in the role of Hospitality Chair for the 20••••20 year. Volunteering is very important as reflected in my profile photo which was from a photo session which included paint with all proceeds going to Breast Cancer Awareness. My biggest passion is spending time with my family, especially my grandchildren, and friends outdoors wake surfing, wake boarding, kayaking, and biking.
