As a dedicated Materials Systems and Applications Engineer with 3 years of experience in the HVAC industry, I specialize in material data systems and workflows, developing strategies for implementing additive manufacturing, and applying materials science principles to develop HVAC products. My technical expertise, combined with my strong communication skills, allows me to effectively contribute to my team and drive impactful results. I hold a master\'s degree in Material Science and Engineering from Stony Brook University and have successfully completed Trane\'s Accelerated Development Program, a 2.5-year rotational program that challenged me to learn about our different products, work on global cross-functional teams, and adapt to changing responsibilities and locations. As a first-generation American and college graduate, I am highly self-motivated to succeed in my field. I am passionate about staying at the cutting edge of technology and continuously seek opportunities to learn and grow. My career goals for the next five years include centralizing and standardizing material data across our businesses and optimizing additive manufacturing processes to expand applications at our sites. I am an active member of several professional organizations, including the Society of Hispanic Engineers (SHPE), Society of Women Engineers (SWE), Society of Plastic Engineers (SPE), and Women in Composites. Additionally, I participate in Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) at my workplace, such as the Global Organization of Latinos (GOL!), Black Employee Network (BEN), and Women\'s Employee Network (WEN). Outside of work, I am passionate about STEM outreach and enjoy mentoring young women pursuing STEM careers. I strive to be an advocate for students who are underrepresented in their intended professions.
