The Healing Project is a community-driven nonprofit based in Austin, Texas, dedicated to navigating resources to marginalized community members in Travis County and surrounding Counties. Established in 2021, the organization provides sustainable resource resources navigation, food assistance, generational health, and the Healing Closet. Through initiatives like \"HEALING IN THE HOOD\", where we go to different neighborhoods and do movement (Yoga, Meditation and flow coaching), Art and Beyond. We also operate a Monthly food pantry in partnership with Central Texas Food Bank and Texas Empowerment Academy, and our MOST impactful program is the Healing Closet where the community come in to shop twice a month to access free food, hygiene supplies, baby supplies, house hold supplies, bus basses and beyond that same day. The Healing Project empowers marginalized communities to advocate for themselves, connects individuals with essential resources, and fosters community resilience. The organization envisions a reimagined space for the Healing Closet by 2025 we plan to expand its impact, supporting underserved communities in Austin and beyond by launching a store front to increase the impact.
