Frank serves as Communication Officer for the IPC Global Support Unit and is expected to design and implement a communications strategy, action and monitoring plan for the Global Strategic Programme (2018 – 2021), aimed at maximizing and monitoring the visibility of programme outputs and the uptakeof the IPC country products.In the framework of the new IPC Global Strategic Programme (20••••21), the incumbent is requested to: Develop the communications strategy for the Global Strategic Programme (2018 – 2021) and the action and monitoringplan for 20••••19; Develop or oversee the preparation of a diverse range of information, advocacy and marketing material as well asguidance and templates to increase understanding of IPC and promote the uptake of IPC analytical findings, this includes:IPC global briefs series; communication guidance on how to communicate IPC results; communication guidance on how tointerpret and citing the IPC results; package of standard presentations and communication material for GSU staff etc; Manage the publishing process of version 3.0 of the IPC technical manual and organize its launch and dissemination; Manage and enhance the IPC Global Platform both from a technical and content point of view. This task also includesworking closely with the IPC Senior IT project engineer on the integration of the IPC information management products intothe Global platform; Provide in-country or remote support in implementing the IPC protocol on communication and related tools to selectedcountries that will conduct IPC analyses during the assignment period to ensure harmonization of efforts andcommunication effectiveness; Supervise and provide guidance to the staff of the IPC GSU communication team who will contribute to the achievementsof the above tasks;
