About Ny-Aja Boyd
I am a speech-language pathologist, dog mom, and author of the new children\'s book Grandfather\'s Garden-I am fortunate enough to use my background in elementary education and speech-language pathology within my role as a pediatric speech-language pathologist. However, my educational knowledge spans over all ages ( e.g, pediatric to geriatric). I am passionate about providing the best treatment to individuals in schools, pediatric outpatient clinics, and early intervention. I am actively expanding my expertise in literacy and children\'s exceptionalities. I have spent the last decade reading and listening to my family heritage stories, and I love to share my memories with others. My latest work, Grandfather\'s Garden, recalls a young granddaughter remembering her grandfather\'s patient tending a prized rose bush. As an educator and speech-language pathologist, I write for children of all ages, creating dreamy bedtime stories that reflect diverse children.
