About Nick Elsbree
I am an avid engineer with a passion for mechanical engineering, complex construction projects and project management. My career goal is to increase my knowledge base in the areas of construction management and engineering design. I have strong collaboration and management skills; work closely with team members to achieve engineering goals in coordination with lead engineers, project managers and clients; and am able to analyze the performance of mechanical systems and make recommendations to improve functionality and performance enhancement. I also have a strong work ethic, excellent oral and written communication skills, superior technical writing skills, and am a proven leader. Moreover, I have significant laboratory skills and experience in the fields of biochemistry, biomedical research and chemistry.Through my work with the Library of Congress, local U.S. Congressmen, the Marin History Museum, and the Honoring Our Marin Veterans Oral History project, I learned to collaborate with governmental and non-profit entities, supervise elderly veterans and project team members (students), and developed exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
