About Nwanne Eke
As a senior Political Science major with a concentration in U.S. National Politics and a minor in Africana Studies at the College of Wooster my curiosities about the intricacies of governance, policy-making, and social justice within the United States spurs me to actively engage in coursework that delves into the historical, cultural, and socio-economic factors shaping political systems, especially those that affect the lived experiences of the African diaspora. My experiences as a student executive board leader of an affinity group, Black Women\'s Organization, and as an advocacy intern at the National Immigrant Women\'s Advocacy Project, have only furthered my desire to work with and for marginalized communities. Looking ahead, I envision a career that encompasses either legal practice or academia, with a focus in advocacy for Black women.
