So today, I am humbled and excited to announce my new role as the Account Executive for Canadian Public Sector at #ServiceNow! ABOUT PETER MADDEN
A seasoned enterprise sales professional, I have been involved with Information Technology for over 25 years. I have been fortunate to have worked in all aspects of the IT lifecycle and with a variety of clients including Government, Large Enterprise and start ups.My sales experience started with infrastructure and has grown to a wide a range of knowledge and experience including:• Computer systems, storage, networking• Cloud Technology (IaaS, SaaS, PaaS)• Enterprise Software (Perpetual, Term, XaaS),(Apps, Middleware, Dev & Security)• Professional services (staff augmentation, Rate card, Project based and outsourcing)• Next generation capabilities such as Cognitive / Artificial Intelligence & Blockchain, These roles have always been as part of a cross functional teams, typically geographically diverse. Predominantly face to face enterprise sales with additional management skills including:• business development• contracting & negotiations• sales management• project management• team managementMy clients have spanned large and small enterprise, public sector, higher education, research as well as the start-up community. Many of my public sector clients have worked under external provincial and federal funding programs such as CFI, NSERC and BCKDF. In addition to my paid work I continue to volunteer on a number of Boards as a Director.Ideally I would be helping to drive multidisciplinary solutions to drive Canadian competitive advantage in the emerging analytics, alternative energy and green tech markets.
